Dilwale Movie Review

A Total Masala Bollywood Entertainer

  • Shahrukh and Kajol together. πŸ™‚
  • Style quotient in the movie. Slow motion entries with awesome background score.
  • Great looking sets.
  • Gerua song with magical voice of Arijit
  • Some funny dialogues here and there.
  • Cars Cars and Cars

  • Absolutely no screenplay. Too much happening in all scenes in first half.
  • Cheesy Bollywood Dialogues at some places.

Must watch for Shahrukh and Kajol together. More enjoyable when you are in a group.

Storyline and Plot: (** SPOILERS AHEAD **)

The story revolves around 2 brothers, Raj and Veer. Raj being the elder one and the over possessive one about his younger sibling.

Raj has a history as a gangster and the movie goes into the flashback wherein Raj meets Meera(Kajol). Both fall in love but the story takes interesting twists. Meera is the daughter of rival gangster and the age old rivalry spoils the love story.

The story forwards 15 years where the brother(Varun Dhawan) and sister(Kirti Sanon) of Raj and Meera fall in love but the history keeps them apart. What follows is a series of fun-filled Bollywood sequences.

The movie is over dramatic in first half but picks discipline in the second half.

Amazing chemistry between SRK and Kajol brings smiles on your face every time they come together on screen.

The movie is full of amazing funny dialogues delivered flawlessly by the trio comedians Jhonny Lever, Varun Sharma(Cho-Cha from ‘Fukrey’ Fame) and Sanjay Mishra.

Overall it is a must watch for SRK-Kajol fans and would be a treat if you like Rohit Shetty style movies.
