Happy Bhaagh Jayegi Movie Review

Happy Bhaagh Jayegi Movie Review

Happy Bhaagh Jayegi
A promising Entertainer but not executed well

What’s Good ?
The happy feel to the movie. The idea to make people laugh and enjoy, to leave theatres with a smile. The team has indeed been able to achieve that.
3 stars out of 5 to the Happiness Quotient

What’s Better?
Diana Penty, Piyush Mishra and Abhay Deol
Diana is the center of the movie and she has done her job well. Returning on screen after 4 years she had a lot of expectations surrounding her.  She did leave a mark.

Piyush Mishra and Abhay Deol had been amazing and they continue to do well.
3.5 stars out of 5 to entire star cast

What’s Best?
Jimmy Shergill
Let’s accept it, Bollywood has been really cruel to this guy. He is a SUPERSTAR but either his character has to die at the end or get content without the lady love.
In this movie, Jimmy Shergil again is running all around but whenever he comes on screen he will make you whistle. He is just amazing.
4 out of 5 for Jimmy Shergill

What’s Bad?
Length of the movie. It is easily 15-20 minutes lengthier than it should have been. Some unnecessary scenes, the not-so required songs make it drag a bit.
2.5 out of 5 for Bad Editing

What’s Worse?
Execution. It is a simple story made complicated. The movie could have been a fultu paisa vasool entertainer. But the will of the Bollywood film makers to add everything in a single movie fires back badly.
2 stars out of 5 for Bad Screenplay

What’s Worst?
The same old problem with Bollywood. No intelligence in the movies. “DIMAAG GHAR CHORH KE JAANA” has been an old formula but not welcomed now. The audience are growing up but not the Bollywood. We need more intelligent entertainers like 3 Idiots or Munna Bhai. Happy Bhaagh Jayegi HAD that promise but couldn’t deliever. It is a good script and deserved better Story telling.
1 star out of 5 to Story Telling

It is a one time watch which is more enjoyable with a group of fun loving friends or family. We recommend to Watch it for its Happiness Quotient.
