One word : Seetimaar
Bollywood has apetite for two kind of movies:
Type 1. Masala movies, which has action, dance, comedy with extreme focus on entertainment.
Type 2. Movies that are primarily based on content and focus is around a story rather than a star.
Simmba is type 1 movie, and Rohit Shetty has proved that he is the King of such types. The movie hits all the right chords in making it a full time paisa vasool. The idea is to entertain the viewers and Simmba will not disappoint. Special apperances here and there just take it to another level.
What’s Good ?
— It’s a Rohit Shetty movie and a paisa vasool masala entertainer, nothing more needs to be said.
— Special mention for Sonu Sood, who looked irreplaceble in the role that he portrayed.
What’s bad ?
— It is 2 hours 50 minutes long movie, though does not bore you but better editing could have made it perfect fit.
— It is predictable at times but that is not bad becuase being un-predictable was never the idea.
Overall, a masala movie which delievers what it promises. Yes, if you watch it in single screen theatres it would be a better watch since the applause and whistles would add to the beauty.
