TODAY the wait was over and we got a small hint of what director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had been cooking since his incredible success of Kabir Singh. As much success he received for that film it all came at a price of same amount of criticism due to the content and characters motivations and celebration of sheer toxic masculinity. Though he never bowed down to any of the naysayers and rather challenged them to be prepared for his next, and he seems to have delivered on his promise.
Animal which had been delayed a little due to “making the product better” and had been talk of the town since Ranbir Kapoor was signed for the project. It is something that is claimed to have, even at the script level, scared Ranbir.
With amazing character poster dropped for the last few days and the teaser that raises curiosity to just at the right level. Shows another boys to men story for Ranbir but set in a totally different world of crime and violence.
With an incredible cast of Anil Kapoor and interesting addition of an unhinged Bobby Deol, I think it will be one of the most talked about movie of the year for sure. In Reddy’s world girls do not have to say much it seems, but it could be possibly too early to comment about that, yet Rashmika does look very pretty.
The background score is very apt and I think I will rate this one few points higher in comparison to the Tiger 3 teaser we just watched yesterday due to the novelty factor.
