‘PINK’, Amitabh Bachchan starrer is gaining amazing reviews all across. But is it really worth watching ??
Here , we give you 5 reason not to watch it:
1. The story never happened with you, so why bother ??
The movie is so close to Reality that it can happen to any of us.
But we have a tendency to ignore the reality as we tend to stay in our comfort zone. “KYA FARAK PADTA HAI. KUCH BADALNE WALA NAHI HAI”. We move on, thinking nothing could change.
The ‘wake up’ call comes when something like this happens to us. On that very day we would wish that it just never happened.
PINK teaches us to be aware, to be wary of realities. But why bother ??
2. Amitabh Bachchan’s performance is superb, but Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ was better.
Amitabh Bachchan is a genius. Old wine getting better with time. He stood above all in PINK but there is just no match to super stars like Salman Khan.
We like Larger than life movies. We like “Hero Maafik Entry”. We crave for more and more “Seeti Maar” action sequences.
We don’t deserve a Genius like Big B. For us Entertainment through ‘Bhai’ movies is enough.
3. It does not have Bollywood Masala
No Item Songs in fact no songs at all, then why to watch such a movie wherein you cannot get all the masala.
It is a Strong Courtroom Drama.But Seriously, why the hell is there no ITEM Song???
Disaster!!
4. Why so serious?
It is close to reality and that’s why a serious watch. Our lives are enough serious anyways, then why to bother from a movie that is ingeniously directed.
Movies are meant only for entertainment. PINK is not even close to that.
In fact it is so well made, that you would keep thinking about it much after the movie is over. So why take so much stress, there is enough already.
5. It is just another ‘Feminist’ movie.
“Hamare yahan ghadi ki sui character decide karti hai” says Amitabh Bachchan during the movie.
Well, come on! The world is changing. The facts shown in the movie are not true.
We don’t see the girls in our society the same way as in 90s. If a girl returns home at 2 am in the night, it is fine. Really??
Overall, PINK is an Intelligent movie. A movie so close to Reality that it can happen to any of us. Story, direction and dialogues all close to perfection. Check out our review here
But still FillumDekho’s prediction says that PINK would fail to enter the 100 crore club.
Bollywood deserves more movies like PINK but till the time baseless movies like “Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo” and “Happy New Year”, even “Dilwale” keep making 200 crores, we won’t get to see movies like PINK more often.
