Take 200 gms”Kabhi Alvida na Kehna”, 100 gms “Rockstar” and 50 gms “Kal ho na ho” and mix them well. Then serve it to the audience. This is what ‘Ae Dil hai Mushkil’ is all about.
On the contraray, the movie will enter the 100 crore club as it has no competition and also scoring high on Music. There is a chance that Younger Cinema-Goers might like it as it surely has some soul to it. But for cinema-goers who care about content and stroytelling, this is avoidable.

She is a goddess. Her screen presence will WOW you. It was good to see her back in form.

What’s better?
Some moments between Anushka and Ranbir in the first half are enjoyable. Both Ranbir and Anushka have nailed their roles and acted superbly.

The songs. Be it ‘Buleya’, ‘Breakup Song’ or ‘Chana Mereya’, the songs are just amazing and throughly enjoyable.

Old wine in a new Bottle.
Same old story, or rather storIES, mixed together to generate a new one. The formula is old and Bollywood has matured much beyond this now. We deserve better movies.

Melodrama
There are some good moments in the first half which will make you laugh but it is a slide down from that point. Too much sadness and melodrama in the rest of the movie.

What’s Worst ?
Content and Length of the movie.
It is slow, ocassionally boring and sometimes even a Yawnathon.Considering that we have relished the songs from such a long time now, there is nothing much left in the movie. Karan Johar should restarin to just production, direction is not his forte anymore. Long gone are the days of Kuch Kuch HOta hai and K3G, we need better movies now.

Overall, this one is directed towards young couples and college goers and they might like it. Movie will also make good money at the Box office due to no serious competition and good star cast. But please avoid if you can.
