Rustom is an upcoming Bollywood film written by Vipul K Rawal and directed by Tinu Suresh Desai which marks his second film in Hindi cinema. It features Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Cruz in the lead roles. The Movie is based on real life incident of Naval Officer K.M. Nanavati. Santosh Thundiyil handles the cinematography. Principal photography commenced in February 2016.
The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 12 August 2016. satellite rights of the film have been bagged by zee TV. The movie is based on the real life case of K. M. Nanavati v. State of Maharashtra. The theatrical trailer of Rustom has released and received superb response.
