The trailer for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Bajirao Mastani is released. This is one film that was waiting to be made for a very long time as the director earlier planned it with Aishwarya and Salman, however with issues between the two stars it didn’t materialize. There has been a constant rumor around Bajirao Mastani being made with different stars through the years, and finally with the lead pair of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Raamleela Ranveer and Deepika Bhansali finally found his Bajirao and Mastani. Also returning in the movie from the last outing is Priyanka Chopra who is playing the role of Kashibai, Bajirao’s first wife.
The trailer is as expected epic, and has everything that you expect in a SLB movie artistic frames, huge war sequences, beautiful costumes, well crafted dialogues. Even though Bajirao Mastani is about the love story of a performer with the Minister, it has enough action that makes it look like a war movie. The female characters are also shown sharing the bravado with the men.
The film will clash with SRK-Kajol’s Dilwale and looks like a worthy competitor to it. Judging by the trailer only this one looks like a winner.
