The remake of Ben-Hur 1959 film which was based on the 1880 novel named Ben-Hur: The Story of Christ, is coming this year to theaters. The film is a revenge saga of a noble man falsely accused and pushed into slavery. Under the guidance of Sheik Ilderim, he rises to take revenge.
The 1959 film Ben-Hur is known for its 12 Academy award nominations and 11 wins. The setup of the film is epic and after Gladiator this one will again take you to the Roman arena, this time for chariot race.
This film stars Jack Huston, Morgan Freeman, and Toby Kebbel in lead roles. The film is directed by Timur Bekmambetov.
Ben-Hur is slated for an August release.
