If you haven’t yet watched the Infinity War please stop reading as this article contains big spoilers.
The mad titan finally came and started working on his plan to collect all the Infinity Stones in infinity War. Our mighty superheroes team up to stop him and eventually lose(really???).
But this all devastation could have been contained and prevented had the stupid half human Peter Quill aka Star Lord hadn’t blown up the best chance to beat Thanos.
As Doctor Strange is captured by the children of Thanos for Time Stone. Ironman and Spider-man follow them to the Saturn moon Titan. Star lord along with Drax and Mantis also arrive there and after a slight misunderstanding both the trios team up and work on a plan to defeat Thanos.
The mad titan returns to Saturn and there is a huge fight between the heros and Thanos. At one point the superheroes have the purple giant pinned down and they were almost successful in getting the gauntlet out of his hands.
But right at the moment Star-lord goes weak after learning about the death of Gamora. In his anger, he hits on Thanos who was hold down by Mantis, Spider-man, Doctor Strange, Drax and Ironman and they were so close to get his infinity Gauntlet out of his hands. This leads to a imbalance and wakes up Thanos who then gives o choice to the heroes to defend themselves and all hell breaks loose.
I didn’t even like this scene because the love of Gamora and Peter had never been so deep. Though in an earlier scene Peter did show up his immense love for Gamora and also tried to stop Drax from doing an emotional attack on Thanos.
So it is the stupid Peter Quill who got not one but two chances to save the Universe yet he blew it.
He should learn from Scarlet Witch who despite her intense love for Vision, for the sake of the world agreed to kill him, although that remained futile.
