So the year is coming to end and it has been a pretty good one for Bollywood. The final film to release this year is Good Newws. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in the lead cast.
The film is based on an accidental sperm swap of two couples who go for IVF and the resultant confusion and chaos due to it forms the premise of the story.
The film is directed by the first-time director Raj Mehta who is also the writer of the film. Good Newws is just hilariously funny and has enough drama and emotion to keep you engaged in the film throughout.
The cast is perfect Akshay and Kareena play the posh and sophisticated Mumbai Batra couples, whereas Diljit and Kiara play the loud Punjabi couple. The encounters between these couples are fantastically funny and will give you good laughs. Overall it is a good film to spend your holiday time of the year.
Although the film claims to be family film but there are a couple of under the belly jokes and some weird drug use in the film that does make it unsuitable for little children.
