| Slightly gripping yet slow and predictable | |
Kahaani 2 is a big let down, not just because it is a sequel to an Amazing ‘Kahaani’ but even without any expectation it is a boring watch. The direction is sad and the story is predictable. Although the movie is slightly gripping but there is no ‘Awesome’ moment in the movie.
There is a bad feeling inside me while writing this review. As a Vidya Balan fan and above all, a ‘Kahaani’ fan, we wanted this movie to be the best ever. But this would be forgotten sooner than expected. Sob 🙁
What’s Good ?
Well it is engaging at times, gripping at moments but highly predictable.
Nothing else. Even Vidya Balan in the main lead could not do justice to the movie. The movie has absolutely nothing to cheer about. With every scene you would wish that there is something extraordinary suspense but….
What’s Bad ?
Predictability, slow pace and what not. Arjun Rampal is in a forgettable role and Vidya Balan is highly wasted.
Overall, as a movie goer, you would push your intellect to form an unpredictable end to this story. This is because you want this is to end well, but what unfolds is entirely different, different in a bad and predictable way.
