AMC studios is producing a new comic book based series named Preacher. It is based on the Vertigo Comics character, The Preacher series was published during 1996 till early 2000s and became a cult hit.
Preacher tells the story of Jesse Custer, a preacher in the small Texas town of Annville. Custer is accidentally possessed by the supernatural creature named Genesis in an incident which killed his entire congregation and flattened his church.
Dominic Cooper is playing the title character. Hope it is telecast in India too.
