Jazbaa

Jazbaa is remake of a South-Korean film ‘Seven Days’. It marks the return of the Beauty Queen Aishwarya Rai on the silver screen post Motherhood. And she is paired with the fierce Irrfan, who is riding high on the success of last Friday’s Talvar. The film is directed by Sanjay Gupta who has in the past successfully adapted Reservoir Dogs(Kaante) and Oldboy (Zinda). He is known for his stylized camera work with tint hues that seem to be inspired by late director Tony Scott’s work. The film has Aishwarya playing a lawyer Anuradha Verma whose daughter is kidnapped and Irrfan is again playing a cop, delivering one liners. The film looks an interesting masala fare and should be worth the ticket money.
