| This movie won't leave your mind for sometime | |
“LION” as a movie has everything right about it. It breaks your heart first and then makes you smile.
Further more, if you have been close to a child or have an affection towards them, this movie will surely make you anxious. It is a true story and it is so intense that you will be confused at the end whether to feel happy or sad.
Another good part is the title “Lion”, you would wonder till the end as to why is it named “Lion”, and we as well would keep it a secret for you. 🙂
What’s Good ?
Absolutely Everything. It has all elements placed correctly.

— Casting : 5 on 5
— Performances : 5 on 5
— Emotions : 5 on 5
— Direction : 5 on 5
— Screenplay : 5 on 5
What’s Bad ?
It would be really harsh to judge such a masterpiece, but yes as a critic we would rate the 2nd half a tad slow. Slightly dragged at moments. And may be that’s why it is not 5 on 5 stars.
This one is an Oscar worthy and much much better than “La La Land” for sure. Psst.. We don’t like hollywood musicals much. 🙂
Overall, this is one of the best watch in recent times. It is high on emotions and it would keep a grip on you from 1st scene up till the end. The fact that it is a true story adds an extra edge to the movie.
