Rangoon, which stars Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles, is set in the 1940s amidst the turmoil of India’s independence struggle and will feature some epic historic references.
Rangoon was all set to release this September, but the shooting could not be wrapped up as Shahid Kapoor suffered an injury.
Vishal Bhardwaj was supposed to start this movie right after Omkara, 10 years back, but couldn’t do do due to unknown reasons. Now that the shooting is going all guns blazing, the movie is set to release on Feb 24th 2017.
